Technical Service Representative Description

Rx Systems, Inc. is currently seeking a new Technical Service Representative. Rx Systems, Inc. is a climate-controlled facility, which is located in the Point West Industrial Park in St. Charles, MO. Our company has been specializing in pharmacy packaging and supplies since 1979. Employees at Rx Systems, Inc. have ample opportunity to grow with-in our company.

We are seeking a positive, team-oriented applicant that is interested in becoming part of our growing company. This position is a day shift position, hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Currently Rx Systems is offering a $500 signing bonus $250 at the end of 60 days and the remaining $250 at the completion of six months of successful employment.

JOB SUMMARY:  This position provides technical support to clients via email, phone, in person which would require some travel (locally and out of state), and works under immediate supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provides technical support to clients via email, phone, or in person.
  • Some travel is required, locally and out of state.
  • Works under immediate supervision.
  • Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the electronics field and be able to apply that knowledge in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment to operation.
  • This is an on-site position and attendance is an essential function of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. On-site attendance is an essential function of this position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Mechanically and technically inclined is required. Must have a good technical background, excellent customer service skills, reliable, and detail orientated. Minimum of high school diploma or a GED is required. 1-3 years of job experience is needed to be successful in this position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Must be able to read, speak and comprehend English.

OTHER SKILLS: 

  • Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, are required.
  • Communication: Communication skills are necessary to communicate with clients and leadership.
  • Time management: You must be able to have multiple tasks going on at one time in a day, so it’s important for you to prioritize your work and manage time wisely. The ability to focus in a busy office environment with minimal direction is an essential function of this position.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Must be able to push, pull, kneel, reach, sit, hear and see. Standing is occasionally required. Position will spend most of their time sitting at a desk. Fine motor skills for equipment repair.

WORK ENVIROMENT:  This position requires working at a desk and sitting while working on the computer in a temperature controlled office environment. Ability to travel when necessary is required.
